No Obligation Case Evaluations for Property Owners Affected by Cantrell Road Widening

February 11, 2013

Property acquisition is currently ongoing by the Arkansas State Highway Commission (ASHC) in regard to AHTD Job No. 061194, also known as Arkansas Highway 10 (Cantrell Rd.) widening from Mississippi Avenue to Perryville Road. The project will convert this section of Cantrell Road to five (5) lanes, including a middle turn lane. From the initial review of public right-of-way documents, as many as 20 businesses would be impacted along Cantrell Road by the project. Several of these businesses could be displaced.

Many property owners do not know their rights when it comes to defending against a taking by eminent domain or condemnation. This area of the law can be very technical and it is very important that landowners obtain experienced eminent domain attorneys to protect their interests in condemnation lawsuits. Before you accept the government's offer, you need competent legal advice regarding the specific facts of your case including the availability of Federal Relocation Assistance and the total amount of just compensation you are entitled to receive.

The Arkansas Eminent Domain Law Firm of Moffitt & Phillips is offering "No Obligation" case evaluations for landowners along the Cantrell Road widening project. We will visit with you about your Arkansas Eminent Domain case and provide an assessment of your legal options. We have already obtained a copy of the appraisals by the ASHC and have identified several issues with the appraisal reports.

Contact Moffitt & Phillips today and let our eminent domain lawyers assist you in obtaining the just compensation you deserve.
