Eminent Domain Lawyers Moffitt & Phillips Representing Landowners on AR Hwy. 5 Widening from I-30 to Pulaski County Line

February 15, 2013

Arkansas Highway 5 Corridor

Arkansas Attorneys Moffitt & Phillips are taking clients affected by the Arkansas Hwy. 5 widening from Interstate 30 to the Pulaski County Line. The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) has announced a widening project for Arkansas Highway 5 due to continuing growth and increasing congestion for travel between Saline County and Pulaski County. This widening will affect numerous residential and commercial tracts and will cause several landowners to relocate.

It is important that landowners retain the services of experienced eminent domain lawyers when their property may be acquired byeminent domain during a highway widening project. Landowners need an eminent domain law firm that understands all avenues of compensation (including access to Federal Relocation Funds) and the technical issues contained in appriasals and roadway widening design plans. Moffitt & Phillips is that law firm in Arkansas and we have delivered competent represenation to clients across the State. After visiting with Moffitt & Phillips, we feel you will agree that Results Matter.

As of early 2013, only the conceptual design plans for the roadway widening are available for the Arkansas Hwy. 5 project. You can view a copy of the conceptual design plans by clicking the following links. You will need the ability to view a PDF document and will likely have to zoom in to see individual properties:

Arkansas Hwy. 5 widening from Interstate 30 to the Pulaski County Line - SW of Highway 183

Arkansas Hwy. 5 widening from Interstate 30 to the Pulaski County Line - NE of Highway 183

The conceptual design plans are preliminary and do not set forth the footprint of the Arkansas Highway 5 widening final design. Additionally, the construction limits of the widening project and actual right-of-way are not currently available.

AHTD has also published a Public Involvement Packet regarding the project and it can be found at the link below:
